Retain your people in manufacturing

Are you concerned about retaining your best talent?

The landscape is changing in the jobs markets. Appealing packages are being offered in addition to seriously competitive salaries. Recruitment companies are resorting to headhunting to approach the best people directly. Possibly the good people in your business, that you could not afford to lose. But the successful business leaders that are attracting the talent are not just focusing on clever recruitment strategies, they have evolved their people focus to a higher state where job roles and life fulfilment have reached a more equitable balance for their teams.

When: Wednesday 28th September 2022 8:45am – 12:00pm
Where: Manufacturers’ Alliance Head Office, All Souls, Bolton (Face to Face – Woohoo!)
Cost: £50 charitable donation (minimum)

Why attend this workshop?

Prior to the workshop itself, we will provide you with a free 5-question employee survey (managed and collated by us) to gather an accurate picture of your individual workplace environment. This will be an anonymous survey to provide a clear and honest picture of the challenges faced by the 25 manufacturing businesses in the room.

We will share and explore the results on the day to understand WHY people are leaving or considering leaving the businesses in the room. We will also share the results of the survey related to the highest contributing Human Factors that are potentially driving people away; feeling appreciated at work, feeling fulfilment from the role and content with the salary/package.

The workshop will be interactive, engaging and insightful.

  • You will NOT be subjected to ‘death by PowerPoint’.
  • You WILL be expected to contribute to discussions and take part in idea exploration.
  • This is a MANUFACTURERS ONLY event.

You will be surrounded by like-minded people that you can learn from, and share ideas and solutions with.

Who is this event for?

YOU! You have been selected as a progressive leader of a manufacturing business with an invested interest in the welfare of your people, and the culture of your business. Someone who understands the significant role this plays in both the business performance and future of UK manufacturing.
