New Peer Group Launching for Ambitious Manufacturers on the M56 Corridor

The Manufacturers’ Alliance are launching a new peer group for ambitious owners and managers of manufacturing businesses located along the M56 corridor on 18th July 2023. The Manufacturers’ Alliance will be sharing their unique approach to supporting, guiding and inspiring ambitious manufacturing leaders at this special event in a bid to find the manufacturers in the region that want to go on a unique and collaborative journey. Would you like to be one of them?

The launch meeting will be hosted by Nick Weeks, Managing Director of Carpenter Additive based in Widnes. A business that has been at the heart of innovation in the additive industry over the past two decades, supplying material and expert advice to a global customer base in the aerospace, medical, transportation, energy, and industrial sectors. Nick will be sharing the journey his inspiring business is on, and how he leads such a highly advanced manufacturing facility.

You know how hard it is to lead a team to deliver great results within your own manufacturing business. The Manufacturers’ Alliance will be providing access to their platform on 18th July to allow local manufacturers with ambition with the chance to join this peer group. A platform that provides the peace of mind for business leaders that they are making the right decisions for their businesses, and will enable them to scale, develop their management teams, and achieve the personal and business fulfilment they deserve.

If you would like to meet in a manufacturers’ only environment, surrounded by open minded and progressive leaders, that want to make a difference in the world, join us on 18th July at Carpenter Additive in Widnes. The meeting will provide you with an opportunity to test the water for free and learn how a peer group could be something that unlocks the potential in you and your business. A safe space for you to be completely open, and share goals and challenges with other like-minded manufacturing leaders on a similar journey to you.

Over the past 10 years the Manufacturers’ Alliance have supported many owners and senior leaders in the manufacturing sector with break through’s that they never thought possible. Becoming confident and competent leaders that can inspire and engage a team. Running businesses that are achieving results they had only previously dreamed of. Feeling a sense of purpose and fulfilment with the difference their businesses are making in the world.

Manufacturing Leadership Conference 2023Founder and Managing Director of the Manufacturers’ Alliance, Gary Sheader, shared his thoughts on the new group. “The manufacturing sector is going through a lot of changes that many small and medium sized manufacturers are finding difficult to navigate. There is a lot of change and uncertainty in markets manufacturers are operating in across the globe, people and talent issues are at an all time high, and the advancement of technology is becoming increasingly more difficult to keep up with. Our peer groups offer a space for manufacturing leaders to share challenges with like minded people, learn through collaboration and make more informed decisions. Collaboration and knowledge sharing is the only way manufacturers will survive and thrive in the future. You need to get out from within the 4 walls of your business and go and see for yourself what others are doing. The people I meet love sharing their best practice and helping others. What are you waiting for?”

The new M56 peer group has already gained a lot of interest from local manufacturers. If you would like to be considered as a new member of the peer group and attend the launch day on 18th July 2023, you can register your interest here.
