We’re excited to welcome Kelly Mitchell to the Manufacturers’ Alliance as our new Meeting & Events Coordinator! With a background in performance, event management, and customer experience, Kelly brings creativity, energy, and a passion for turning events into memorable experiences. To help you get to know her better, we’ve put together a fun Q&A where Kelly shares more about herself and her new role with the team.
Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?
I come from a creative, performance, and customer experience background, ranging from dancing and presenting at holiday parks to managing large corporate events across the UK. What started as a love for being on stage has grown into a passion for the behind the scenes work that turns unique moments into unforgettable memories and experiences. I’m a real people person and love bringing energy, positivity, and a little smile to everything I do.
Can you tell us a bit about your role at the Manufacturers’ Alliance?
As the new Meeting and Events Coordinator, my role is all about making sure our meetings and events come together seamlessly behind the scenes. But also supporting our members as they continue to grow, stay engaged, and gain real value from being part of the group
What are you most excited about in joining the Manufacturers’ Alliance team and in your role?
I’m passionate about helping people grow, and there’s something special about contributing, even if only a small way to someone else’s success story. Being part of a community that supports progress, learning, and achievement is exactly where I want to be.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love theme parks days, trying out new restaurants, and catching a variety of shows at the theatre. I also love a long drive as there’s something relaxing about being on the road and singing my favourite songs at the top of my voice.
What hobbies or passions do you have?
Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember but I’m just as happy performing on stage as I am working behind the scenes or cheering from the audience. I’m also a very creative person and love any kind of hands-on project, from planning my wedding to personalising anything my Cricut machine can handle!
What are your likes?
I love travelling and exploring new countries and all things music- some of my favourite artists are RAYE, Sabrina Carpenter and Luke Combs. I also enjoy a good spa day, eating my favourite snacks, and spending quality time with my friends and family.
What are your dislikes?
I dislike dentists, burnt pizza and I’m not a fan of potatoes in any form! Mash, roasties, chips… I’ve given them plenty of chances, but they keep letting me down.
