On 4th October 2023 the Manufacturers’ Alliance will be launching its second peer group for HR Leaders in the manufacturing sector that are based in the North of England. A new peer group for HR Directors and Managers that are looking for a space to share ideas and discuss challenges with those in similar shoes to themselves.
Our first peer group for HR Leaders launched in 2021 and has been an amazing success. They meet every 6 weeks in person to support each other and share knowledge and are hugely open and honest about the highs and lows of the role. Beyond the meetings, there is a hive of activity and help every week. If one of the peer group members need support or advice, the rest of the group immediately rally around them and offer guidance and advice to help them along.

Our second HR Leaders peer group will be an extension to our existing community and will ensure we can help as many people in the HR sector as possible in their quest to look after and grow their people. The current landscape in the manufacturing sector has a lot of people challenges and opportunities, and having a group of other HR people you can utilise as a sounding board is of huge value to our member.
