The Great Resignation – Intervention & Employee Retention

People are leaving roles for all kinds of reasons and currently, there are more vacancies than job seekers!

It’s reported to be impacting growth, holding down capacity and slowing productivity (CBI).  This trend has been referred to as “The Great Resignation”, with predictions that up to 40% of employees are likely to move jobs in 2022 if they don’t feel valued, engaged and properly rewarded.

This is both a challenge and an opportunity for employers.

The Manufacturers’ Alliance Community seize opportunity and are hosting this session to equip manufacturing leaders with the power to prevent their workforce from leaving through powerful employee engagement.

This session we will explore:

  • Tips on how to engage existing employees
  • Proven reward schemes that work
  • Different ways to stay ahead of the competitive labour market
  • How to reconsider the current methods in attracting new talent

Who will be delivering the webinar?

The session will be delivered by Irwin Mitchell’s Elaine Huttley, an experienced, specialist employment lawyer. Her clients include employers, from owner-managed businesses to international plc’s and she provides advice in relation to all HR and employment law matters. Elaine regularly represents clients in the Employment Tribunal in addition to advising senior executives on entering and exiting employment relationships.

Elaine states, “ You’re sure to come away with ideas, practical tips and plenty of takeaway actions.
