Supporting the Future Success of Machinery Manufacturing in the UK

Machinery manufacturing in the UK currently accounts for 0.5% of a global £125bn market. AMPI (Advanced Machinery & Productivity Institute) has set out a roadmap of support and funding to more than treble this market share to £2bn over the next 10 years. This roundtable discussion will help you to understand the support that is available to you and your manufacturing business today, and help to guide the future support and grant initiatives needed to best support the sector.

AMPI has grant funding available for projects now, which you may be able to utilise for existing or up and coming projects. They are also looking for insights into what future funding for the sector may need to look like. So, a good to time to engage with them and help to shape the future funding and support for machinery manufacturing.

The roundtable is being help on 13th December 2023 at the Manufacturers’ Alliance Head Office in Bolton, 11am – 2pm with lunch provided.

The Agenda for the session will cover:

  • Outline Current AMPI Support for Machinery Manufacturers
  • Challenges faced by the Machinery Manufacturing sector in the UK
  • Aspirations for the Future
  • Actions to Support Progress
