The Manufacturers’ Alliance are proud to be supporting CNC Robotic’s First Open house event in three years and even more excited to see their brand-new state of the art manufacturing facility. Co-Chair of the N Wales and Merseyside Peer Group for Manufacturing Leaders, Simon Carin will be there on the day to provide support, guidance and build on the sparks of inspiration that will certainly be firing on the day.

 

On Wednesday 15th June 2022, CNC Robotics, a leading SME business specialising in advanced machining applications founded by Jason Barker in 2010, is inviting guests to visit its new premises based in Mersey Reach, Liverpool. The business moved into a new award-winning industrial development during the Summer of 2021. The open house hopes to inspire, educate, and connect the Manufacturing and Engineering community.

The Open House will include a robotic machining demonstration from the company’s Artist in Residence, Liz Wilson. Liz will be working with the companies Automation Engineers on the day machining a sculpture which formed part of her installation for Art in Manufacturing; the headline commissioning programme for the National Festival of Making takes place on 11th – 13th June.

The event will include CNC Robotics partners, and alongside the Manufacturers’ Alliance, It will also feature a range of guest exhibitors and demonstrations from companies within CNC Robotics community, including Blowfish IT, CADLINE, HITECO, KUKA, Make UK, Schunk, and Royal Academy of Engineering, University of Liverpool Business School, 3DGBRIE and more.

Gary Sheader, Founder of the Manufacturers’ Alliance explained,

“We have really enjoyed welcoming Philippa as MD of CNC Robotics to our community and embrace opportunity to connect manufacturers from across the region. We feel the day will provide an experience that enables progressive manufacturing leaders to feel inspired to break through the boundaries of possibility and we can whole heartly support that movement.”

The themes throughout the day will include Robotics and Automation, Additive Manufacturing, Cyber Resilience, Skills and Talent Development, UK manufacturing outlook, support available and more.
