Blackpool NYE Walk Raising Funds for Donna’s Dream House

Gary & Trish Sheader will have walked over 1,200 miles when we reach the end of 2023. They set about the challenge on 1st January 2023 to raise funds for Donna’s Dream House in Blackpool, and plan to complete the journey in sunny Blackpool too.
They have only counted miles they have walked together in the great outdoors, and none of the daily pottering around or walks they have done separately from each other. The commitment has been a huge challenge and has taken up most of their evenings and weekends to complete.
For the final walk of 2023 Gary & Trish are inviting anyone who would like to join in. Bring your family, friends, pets and walking shoes for the final leg of the walking challenge. Everyone is invited and what a way to end the year. Breathe in that sea air, with an ice cream, and maybe a portion of fish and chips to finish up.
They plan to walk from Donna’s Dream House in Blackpool at 10.30am, and will be walking approx. 3 miles along the beach and promenade. It’s always sunny in Blackpool so remember to bring your sunglasses.
