The West Yorkshire Group
The West Yorkshire group is a new group being launched in 2017 to support the growth of UK manufacturing and is being chaired by Jonathan Wurr and Philippa Coultish. The group is currently recruiting new members and is open to meeting ambitious manufacturing leaders in the area.
Our goal is to support the growth of SME manufacturing businesses via an affordable membership model that connects like-minded people in the industry. We firmly believe that manufacturing is the backbone of the UK economy and every effort should be made to accelerate the growth of those with ambition. People just like you that have personal and business growth ambitions. People you can trust and willing to open up their doors to share great ideas and business best practice.
Jonathan fell in love with manufacturing in his Grandad’s Leeds pickle factory at the age of 8 and has been involved in manufacturing and industrial processes all his life. He has held key roles in Coca-Cola, Nalco’s, Hays Chemicals (now Brenntag) and Francis Ward. He has a passion for developing people and seeing businesses improve.
