There is no getting away from the fact, the shift towards more remote and hybrid working is now the new norm for manufacturing in the UK and the rest of the globe. Waiting for things to go ‘back to normal’ is not going to happen. We are entering a new phase of change in industry. We need to grasp the opportunity and make the best of it.

Due to the pandemic, even the most sceptical of us have been forced to use platforms such as Zoom and Teams to continue to work remotely with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. And for most of us, this has worked effectively and kept the lights on for the past 18 months. But as we emerge from Covid-19, what will the new workplace look like? How do we remain effective and retain our best talent? What are other forward-thinking people doing?

On 22nd October 2021, we plan to hold an open discussion with a small number of Manufacturers Alliance customers that want to get ahead of the curve with their hybrid working plans. Forward thinking leaders that want to learn what others with a like mind are thinking, and how they plan to strike a healthy balance moving forward.
