AMRC’s Factory 2050 Hosts Next Industry 4.0 Peer Group Meeting
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Wallis Way, Catcliffe Rotherham
An Industry 4.0 peer group dedicated to sharing knowledge on Industry 4.0 type technologies and digitisation.
The peer group meet regularly to learn what technologies are available to improve efficiencies and gain hands-on support in the application of these technologies in the business. All members of the groups work for progressive companies that are constantly seeking to improve.
We are excited to announce that the September meeting is to be held at Factory 2050 and welcome the industry’s most accessible and affordable manufacturing analytics software platform creators – FourJaw to share their innovations in manufacturing.
What can you expect on the day?
AMRC staff will showcase ideas on Maintenance of Assets, IIoT data capture and use including process control, as well as some examples of industrial automation solutions appropriate for manufacturing SMEs, within their Factory 2050 environment.
The AMRC Factory 2050 is the UK’s first state-of-the-art factory, entirely dedicated to conducting collaborative research into reconfigurable digitally assisted assembly, component manufacturing and machining technologies and is capable of rapidly switching production between different high-value components and one-off parts.
