British Manufacturer and 3rd generation family business, Packaging Automation is delighted and thrilled that the evolutionS has been nominated for the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award 2023.
Harnessing nearly 60 years tray sealing expertise and following four years in Research and Development working alongside food producers and manufacturers, Packaging Automation challenged industry limits to create the latest and most advanced machine, capable of packing up to 250 packs per minute in a single lane format.
The evolutionS challenges traditional tray sealing design and removes the speed limit on packing in the fruit packing industry. It’s intuitive design and self-diagnosing ability with clear visuals and prompts removes operator intervention.
EvolutionS brings high speed single lane tray sealing to the fruit sector simplifying the packing lines where previously only twin lane sealing with converging and diverging conveyors could be used making long, complex, expensive packing lines. The smooth profile of the motion of trays into the machine, reduces product movement and escape from trays, the design has also eliminated the need for transfer arms which can be heavy and awkward to move and set up and can also be difficult to store.

Using new Syncro technologies the evolutionS optimises every operation required to seal a tray, accurately, reliably and efficiently, it is by far the most technically advanced highest speed single lane tray sealing machine ever produced.
SYNCROmotion takes complete control of every pack fed into the machine giving optimum reliability using robotic technology. SYNCROwave gives true continuous controlled movement and synchronises all elements of the moving phases. This provides the ability to automatically load and unload a complete cycle of packs from the sealing station faster than any other tray sealer.
SYNCROdrive technology transports packs three times faster whilst maintaining optimum accuracy and accommodating all pack formats without the need for tool changes.
